Part One: Initial Consultation
Throughout the years, we’ve done a lot of work for the Edwards.
They trusted us with anything and they knew we’ll take care of it.
When it was time to redo their kitchen, we were their number choice.
They first reached out in late October to discuss some options, and that’s when we did an initial consultation to see the scope of work…
But also the issues they were confronting.
During our in-home consultation, some of the things we noticed were...
Old appliances
All the appliances were old, ugly, and some even posed a safety hazard for our clients.
Old, dated cabinets
These cabinets were as old as the house and their storage space was limited.
Old electrical & plumbing
Neither the electrical nor the plumbing installations were up to code, so they needed to go.
Ugly tile flooring
Throughout the kitchen and second bath they had old, stained, and ugly flooring.
Part Two: The Design, Planning, Permitting
This was a big home upgrade that included a lot. We worked with our designer to create a beautiful 3D render of the new kitchen, our architect did the layout and planning, and we got the necessary permits to start the remodel.
Part Three: The Time Schedule
Robin and his spouse came to us on Feb 6th. It was the beginning of the year and they wanted to start planning this upgrade and get it over with. Here’s a quick breakdown of how it went…
October
November
In November, our clients got their proposal and contract. Towards the end of the month, they received the first draft of the new kitchen design.
Dec - Feb
December, January, and February were months of deciding on materials, adjusting the designs and planning, waiting for deliveries, and getting the permits.
March
In mid-March we started demolition and the site prep, including using plastic and paper to protect different areas in the home.
April
In April we started with installing new drywall throughout the kitchen space. At the end of the month, we did the subfloor and started installing the tile flooring and custom pantry.
May & June
We finished installing everything in May, and in June we did all the touchups.

Full Kitchen Remodel With New Pantry
This project included:
- 3D Designs, plans, and permitting
- Demolition, project management, and clean-up
- New plumbing and electrical installation
- New drywall, subfloor, and framing
- New refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher
- New backsplash for the kitchen and 3 niches
- New kitchen sink & faucet
- New 16x32" Promenade Cinder tile flooring
- New 3x12" White Hope backsplash tile (brick pattern)
- Aprox. 75 sq. ft. of new Chateau quartz countertops
- New custom cabinets with accessories
- New paint on cabinets, trim, wall, and ceiling
This beautiful tile was perfect to create a warmer room. We wanted to steer away from the old-school tile and chose to go with something unique, but just as timeless and beautiful.
